Frederick G. Kahl at the Cameron Museum of Art in Wilmington NC
I’m pleased to announce an exhibition featuring my work with glass and light and drawings from the last decade:
November 20, 2025- May 12, 2026
Magic, Light and Sacred Geometry: Glassworks by Frederick G. Kahl is the culmination of the artist’s decade-long inquiry into the immersive and meditative quality of light. This exhibition features glass works as well as drawings. Magic, play and a sense of mystery have informed the multi-media artist’s work over his varied career. Also known as “the Great Fredini,” Kahl’s artistic experiences have included visual and stage illusions, sideshow performances including yogic feats of sword swallowing, and 3D scanned and printed portrait sculptures. His current focus of sacred geometries to create meditational experiences informs this exhibition. Presented and curated with partner Starworks, a non-profit art studio with galleries in Star, NC, this exhibition features Kahl’s work in conjunction with his summer 2025 artist residency at Starworks.
