Custom Glass Tiles from Digital Designs

Lumiaware originated as an exploratory predecessor to the Apsara Series—an investigation into modular glass forms created through digitally designed, CNC-carved molds. Initially conceived as illuminated architectural tiles meant to be embedded into walls or floors, the project evolved into a six-tile cast-glass system with geometric components that interlock, stack, and recombine in countless configurations.

Each tile captures light differently—refracting, scattering, and pooling it across their faceted surfaces—transforming simple units into shifting luminous patterns. Both functional and sculptural, the Lumiaware tiles reveal your early exploration of repetition, digital geometry, and the meditative possibilities of modular form.

Custom Cast Glass for Architectural Integration

These cast-glass tiles—designed digitally and formed in CNC-carved graphite molds—were originally developed as modular elements for architectural integration. Each tile refracts and amplifies light through its patterned geometry, creating a luminous field that shifts throughout the day or, when backlit, becomes an ambient light source of its own.

Installed here as illuminated wall insets, the tiles transform a simple architectural surface into a textural, glowing feature, turning functional spaces into environments of quiet radiance. Their modular design allows for endless configurations—clusters, gradients, linear runs, or full-surface installations—making them adaptable to residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Available as a customizable design service, tiles can be tailored in scale, pattern, and lighting integration, offering architects and designers a unique way to bring hand-crafted, digitally precise glasswork into built spaces.
